HSLWR is 100% privately funded — we receive no government tax dollars. Every dollar comes from generous individuals, businesses, grants, and foundations like yours.

Launch Bonus
Because Paws & Partners and Corporate Champions are launching part-way through the year, our first membership term runs from September 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Your level is based on your total giving across 2026 and 2027 combined — so every gift in that window counts, including the ones you have already made this year.
Beginning January 1, 2028, membership levels are based on each calendar year.

For Paws & Partners, all donations and sponsorships made under your personal name qualify — whether it's a general contribution or support of a specific event. For Corporate Champions, all giving and sponsorships tied to a business name qualify. Trusts, foundations, and donor-advised funds are treated as individual giving.
Your level is based on your total qualifying giving during the current membership term, and if you reach a higher level mid-term your upgraded benefits activate immediately. Launch bonus: our inaugural term runs from September 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, and your level is based on everything you give across 2026 and 2027 combined — including gifts you have already made this year. Beginning January 1, 2028, membership levels are based on each calendar year (January 1 – December 31).
Absolutely. Monthly giving is a wonderful way to reach your tier throughout the year. For example, a $84/month recurring gift puts you in the Gold tier at $1,008 over twelve months. Set it up through our secure online giving page and it runs automatically.
All sponsorship dollars count as donations toward your tier — whether given by an individual or a business. For individuals, sponsorships count toward your Paws & Partners tier. For businesses, sponsorships count toward your Corporate Champions tier. Every dollar given, regardless of whether it supports a specific event or is a general contribution, moves you closer to your next level.
Gifts under your personal name go toward Paws & Partners. Gifts under your business name go toward Corporate Champions. You can participate in both programs simultaneously — they are tracked independently.
